An impressive Arsenal beat league champions Chelsea to win a record 13th FA Cup.
Arsene Wenger managed to secure his 7th FA Cup win against Chelsea to make him the most successful manager in the competition.
The Gunners got off to a flying start as Sanchez opened the scoring after just four minutes with a controversial goal that involved an overruled offside decision and a potential hand ball.
Arsenal then took control of the game whilst dominating possession for most of the first half, although Chelsea still looked dangerous.
Going into the second half, Chelsea saw more of the ball and created more chances which eventually saw Diego Costa equalise with a shot that squeezed past Ospina, who got a hand to the ball, but was unable to do enough to keep it out.
Just three minutes later, Chelsea were unable to stop an exquisite cross from Olivier Giroud, who had only been on the pitch for 38 seconds, reaching Aaron Ramsey who headed home what turned out to be the winner.
Overall, it was a successful afternoon for Arsene Wenger who has seen him and his squad come under a lot of scrutiny over the season.
